Ok so I had an idea, and call me crazy but I think it might speed up the AT and make it better all around. What if we were able to change to nova, or dwarf without chaning to human in between. Basically just make it so that while either power would toggle the other off, you could Dwarf -> Nova, Nova -> Dwarf or turn the power off to turn back to human.

I think it would eliminate a lot of the problems I have with the tribuilds and make it more competitive a selcetion in both PVP and PVE. Also, frankly I think it would make up for our crappy inherent (I can't find teams for squat when playing a WS or PBer.)

So what do you all think?

The animation time on shapeshifting (Regardless of whether it involves human form or not) was put in place to prevent exactly what you're suggesting. The ability to shift rapidly back and forth between forms is viewed by the Devs as unbalanced. Granted, I don't like the 3s animation time either but it makes sense.

On Inherents: The Kheldian inherents have seen a major improvement ever since the i13 revamp. I assure you, not being able to find teams has nothing to do with the AT you're playing.

If you PL'd to 50 just to get an "epic" thinking you'd be �ber, you're going to be sorely disappointed with the HEATs, because the VEATs were designed so that anyone with one good finger and a braincell can rock the toggles.

I actually like your suggestion... I wouldn't suggest making the form-change times shorter (although I would be more likely to play my tri-form builds if this were the case), but I DO like the suggestion of going straight from one to the other... dropping to human form for one tiny sliver of a split second before going to dwarf when changing directly from nova (and vice versa) just looks bad. There's no cool explosion or animation when switching back to human, so it really takes away from the switch TO the other forms.

Just my 2 cents.

I wouldn't want to lose the shapeshifting animation (Well I would, but thats overpowered I think) so I can't see what difference going from one to the other would make, macro's can be made to drop to human and go straight to the other form with the time spent in human barely noticable so I can't see a point making it a feature.
