- TF 4 is about 50% done right now. Team roster is identical to TF 3.

Tsuki mentions being lost. Kyo was probably giving her directions.

The mood seems a bit more serious, more focused, but when I probe around to see if everyone is OK I get t he usual zany answers. If I'd gotten straight answers I would have been worried.

JanLee's new chair is doing the job:

[Marathon]Stalemate: [REFEREE] So how's the new chair Janlee?
[Marathon]Janlee2: Quick Zapper: well broken in now....
[Marathon]Alber: to Tango please Snap
[Marathon]Stalemate: [REFEREE] lol
[Marathon]Janlee2: Quick Zapper: it's designed for "Intesive
[Marathon]Janlee2: Quick Zapper: Seating" 5 or more hours

This is the last leg faithful readers - take this opportunity to join the Marathon global channel and cheer them on!

- TF 4 is being completed as I write this, as Team Insanity enters the last mission.

My proposal to end this with a quick Posi run has met with threats. They're obviously not as hardcore as they think they are. Oh well.

Still time to joim the global channel and cheer them on!

Didn't hit 50, but got a decent chunk of 49 taken out of my Trick Arrow Defender.

Cripes, I never thought ROLAND would jump forward so fast!

- Marathon ends. Dancing and rejoicing ensues. Supporters and players gather in Ouroboros for final words.

Shard TF Marathon conludes after 16 hours - Kyo and Tsuki are voted MVPs by their fellow team mates, each receiving an additional 50M over the expected prize of 100M inf. I'm almost broke.

Again, special thanks to the New Player Welcoming Night for sponsoring 150M of this event's prize package, and also to Janlee who opted to have his share distributed back into the pool for the rest of the team to share.

You guys are truly abnormal.

If any survivors would like to add their comments or impressions below - please do!

That was wicked fun

Prize money.
with the merits I got: I bought for 200 merits and LotG +rech
and with the random rolls (4 of them), I happened to have that same recipe dropped! so I got 2 of them!

Results of this marathon: Jeez, I am super duper rich.

What Tsuki said. I used my merits towards random rolls, and got 12/14 extremely nice recipes, selling (crafted) for between 10 and 50 million, most for over 30 million. After everything sells, I might be able to finish Snap's first build!

All in all, it was an insane, awesome time, with a lot of great people both on the team and on the sidelines. Next time I go broke the Teamsters may run this for profit-but we'll be splitting it up, not doing it all at once; I'm pretty sure some of our SGmates already want to put myself, Unholy, and Tsuki in the loony bin, and to do this twice would seal the deal.

Oh, and by the way, if you REALLY want to test your friendship with someone, spend 16 hours on Skype with them while running a series of fairly grinding TFs. Many thanks to WRider and Mionas, who joined our conversation occasionally and kept us amused enough to finish in high spirits!

This is what I get for loosing track of time and falling asleep at 4 A.M. (5 EST) instead of around 1 A.M. like I planned. I overslept past the end of the marathon. Ah well, good job all you insane people and grats to Tsuki and Kyo for MVP. Of those of you I know running this, I have this sneaking suspicion I won't see any of you until tomorrow... at the earliest...

Congratulations; a truly phenomenal feat, to be sure.

I am glad I didn't sign up, though. I would have made it, but I would have had to get up from the computer desk and go right out side to work on replacing our deck if I had. Probably would have hurt myself.

Twice.

I went to sleep after posting that "Roland's 49" comment, and didn't wake up until 8:30.

I got to take an hour long nap yesterday between the Marathon and a KJSR.net staff meeting...went back to bed around 11 pm (because my SG was yelling at me), woke up at 4 am and MADE myself go back to sleep til 11 am. Sleep is gooooooood.

I crawled into bed about half hour after the marathon, and woke up at about 7.

Did not know if it was 7 AM or 7 PM until I went into the bathroom, where a real clock that says AM/PM and Day of Week is.

Was just happy it was still Saturday.

Then did an ITF with Kid and Crew and then an STF with Rasta/Sooner/River/etc.

When Sooner said she was getting frustrated waiting for the GM to reply... I was starting to fall asleep again.

Think I did the 3rd run at the Flyer on auto.
