Expanded colour selection with I16?
We knew about Brites and Darks, or something like that.

The colors they chose were to prevent either "pee/blood" ice, etc, or to just not look hideous.
The colors we get for each power may vary - the "dark" version of some powers is actually an "inverse" effect, it's really spiffy but kinda hard to describe.
Not all colors will be available for all powersets. The colors on the "copy colors across entire costume" are NOT copied over to the power choices, however the power choice area has its own "copy all" if they're available.

Yes, for some they are very specific shades. The earth one is a good example but I didn't get any others. Notice that the color palette is very limited there in that clip.

Looks like I jumped to conclusions a little. I thought it might be just a general extra colour set for use with anything, including costumes.
We can only hope that the additive/subtractive color selection makes its way to auras.

The costume parts according to the devs (after the panel) have been carefully arranged using their system. There are only 2 locations for costumery left available out of 20 and I assume (though I may be wrong) that Auras are in a way one of them. They may merely "add a layer" to an existing node, but I don't know, I didn't ask about those.

There appears to be an alternate colour palette with a choice lower-saturation hues available. Though the clip focuses on power customisation I can't imagine why the new colours couldn't be available throughout the character creator.
Though there has always been a wide choice they have generally been high-saturation (with a smaller selection of more neutral choices down the right side.) I think this is another excellent development. ^_^
