Anyone have a Rad/Psy Defender PvP build?

Rad/psi really hasn't been a great PvP build since i12. They still have some decent worth in team matches, though.

Ask Poisen Spiner for some build advice. He was easily the best rad/psi duelist in i12 (pretty beastly in team matches, as well), and a great/cool player overall. He played for many top tier test SGs in the pre-i13 days, and is currently a member of the esteemed Virtuous Vanguard.

I don't have a build to give you, but I have to say to the above statement that they definately still play alright in pvp. TK is major hax... that plus 70%dmg buff from am/sets/assault and a self heal = awesum sauce. Stick the debuffs on aswell and while they can still be knocked off, they are still pretty decent. They do take a bit of experience to play right though. My friend is running one at the moment, and he also managed to get 1570hp on it plus the above I mentioned makes it very deadly.

Rad debuffs are still potent (though not as much as they were pre-I13 thanks to DR) - it's the Psi Blast side of things that got hit badly by I13. Even the heaviest attacks barely do over 100 damage base, so you need to make up for that with creative slotting and IO bonuses (think damage procs). Prior to I13 my Rad/Psi was a Power Mastery build for PB'd heal/debuffs/AM but with DR that's not really worth it and I switched to Psi Mastery mostly because TK is hax and Dominate does more damage than any of the Psi Blast powers.

When the Justice 3v3 tournament started up I respec'd my Rad/Psi into a more post-I13 team-friendly build (dropped Leadership and took Phase, for example). This build is nowhere near what it could be because I wanted to re-use as many of the IOs from my pre-I13 build as possible, and my build goals were quite different then. Two things this build could use are more HP and more KB protection (21 points might be fine for most Justice arena but you'll get farmed like crazy on Freedom).

That 70% dmg buff gets wrecked by DR in case you forgot..

Not to mention that the debuffs are easily detoggled by any attack that has any mez effect.

Meldash was another good rad, by the way. Bombard him with in game global tells asking him for build advice.
