You didn't mention if you were going to add more people to the group, or just the two of you ?
If it's just you and him, then a Fire/Kin controller will indeed work well.
Elec3 all the way. End drain ruins mobs, and with a tank, you should be safe

Thanks for the reply's folks. For the most part we plan to just be us two. I will be honest and say I was hoping it would be one of the Kheldians, but it sounds like a fire/kin it is.

The kheldians probably aren't ideal, but they aren't bad either. You'll probably be spending a lot of time in nova until late game and you'll need to watch the knockback. I'd probably go with a warshade if you go that route. I like mine quite a bit and I've had good success teaming with tanks. The other problem is that khelds gain a lot more on large teams, especially since those bonuses apply in the forms now. As a duo you won't be taking full advantage of that.
Fire/Kin is an awesome troller to go with.
Spines/Fire would be a good scrapper.
Fire/Ice or Ice/Ice (blaster) is nice. (prolly fire for the aoe's) + the /Ice would go good with the tank primary, since its a partnership.
Just my 2 cents.
My buddy is a Tank and we're wanting to do some AE mindless farming missions on the side. What would be a good combo with an Ice/SS tank? What blaster (if a blaster) maybe a Warshade or a controller? suggestions, thoughts?
