With power customization being one the major deal with i16, do you think they'd actually let everyone look at it in the character create screen? I would imagine that's a major thing that only the closed beta invites get to see right now.

Well, maybe the testers actually have to test the stuff inside the game, to see that all the particle effects are working properly? The creator is just that, a creator. You can see what they may look like, but not what they look like in-game. I think the in-game stuff matters a little more to the devs.
Or they may be locking non-beta testers out of the closed beta completely. We'll see soon.

Castle and BABs have posted that they are not allowing people to play with the costume creator who are not part of the Beta.
Part of a new server code they are putting into the game to allow a Que system for servers that are too full.

They put in the way to stop you from connecting if you're not part of the closed beta test. Oh well. Just need to wait until open to try it out.

Awwww, I didn't get an invite. Oh well, that's okay, I have no idea how to get on the test server anyways. I'll just wait for it to go live, and then spend hours tweaking and playing.
I didn't get an invite either. It just says cannot connect to DBServer for me. That'd be enough to stop someone from connecting, I guess.

It's also a single server or small few though so you lot are by no means the only folks who find this interesting. Therefore the problems the server is having could very well be stress from so many hopping on to test it.

Well, it's official. Closed beta has begun on I16. Now, the character creator is open, so you can still mess around with POWER CUSTOMIZATION!
Not exactly a secret when anybody who has an active subscription can access the character creation tool. I am SO going to see some of my 'dream' powers and see if they're possible.
