PVP Zones for EVERYONE!

This might be an inappropriate suggestion, but what if the developers added three instances of the same zone?

For example: Recluse's Victory.

Instance #1: With DR, TS, etc.
Instance #2: PRE Issue #13 rules.
Instance #3: No suppressions, no restrictions, etc. (FFA)

I wonder which zone people would play?

Seems to me that giving the players the options to choose, in the game, the zone they like the best would show the developers what forms of PVP are favored by the community. My guess is that they would learn that the non-PvP crowd favors Instance #1 (lol, the beginner PVP zone) while the advanced would be more inclined to free for all play.

Right now, my opinion is that people who begin PvP need access to a beginner zone to learn the ropes. Once they start learning all the tricks and techniques, they'll realize that all these restrictive systems actually inhibit them from getting better.

While I don't know how much extra space, time, cost, etc., it would take to make 2 or 3 instances of the same zone, they do it with Atlas Park all the time.

Idk, is this a bad idea?

Be careful with this. One of the original "what changes do we need?" lists asked for a "new-player friendly" zone and instead of that, the entire system was changed.

I think thats a fantastic idea. I only wished the Devs cared about the people paying to play their game.

What do you mean by "No suppressions, no restrictions"? Do you mean i12 style movement, or no movement supression at all (like i4)?

No no and no. It's retarded to split the small PvP population into an even smaller segments. People already have amassed on freedom looking like refugees.

While I miss some of the old style of play all this...give us our old **** back thread posting is really ****-ing lame.

Actually I would guess that the advanced players would play in the beginners zone to get easy kills.

What I would really like is that all restrictions can be opted out for arena matches. That is a fair environment where boths sides should be able to agree to whatever rules they are happy with (if technically possible).

I want a zone where you only get the Nemi Staff and brawl... maybe combat jumping...

No one goes there anymore, it's too crowded...

this, as much as it sounds kewl, we just don't have the playerbase for pvp to pull it off.

Advanced players are advanced cause they like a challenge...you don't get better by beating up easy mode noobs in BB.

I doubt they'd come down there unless there we some kind of Drop hunger players around...that I could agree with.

Meldash brings truth, but there are may PvP'ers that left after i13 that may be willing to come back if we get pre i13 pvp back. Hell make a new zone, have the portal in Ouro, and say its a time slip and make the RP'ers happy in the same time as the PvP'ers. Hell I'd love a new lvl 50 PvP zone in the warburg FFA setup anyways so lets throw that in too.
