Bots/Storm VS Electric/Storm cor. ?
Yeah there's really no comparison. You can leave 3 pets on aggressive and 3 pets on defensive along with tornado and lightning storm. Your biggest worry on a mastermind is being held or stunned but it takes a LOT to take out a /storm mastermind.
A corruptor is just one target.
i been reading that Fire Storm cor is a much more powerful combo then electric. and that does sound nice. but again i wonder when grouping and farming wouldn't the MM still own hands down?
I can imagine there is a big benefit to cor that they have less to manage but..... with bots even if you run out of end you still keep shooting.
I know they are totally different classes but has anyone played both? I am curious which would be a better combo. Obviously different tactic but seems like the MM would have more consistent Damage since your pets would continue shooting even when you are casting and trying to manage mobs, debuffing. Any thoughts on this?

My first villain was Robots/Poison. I dearly love the mechanical henchies. Good, resilient, and resistant to mental machinations, I loved how my Mastermind literally blitzed Lost missions with sleep-proof robots, ranged knockback attacks, and then level 32 came -- ELO light show all over again.
When storm was proliferated, I knew in my gut before I played one level that this was the peak of evolution for both robots and storm. The hardest thing to justify is a mad scientist into weather and robots both. Meh, it takes imagination.
The key with Robots/Storm is that you have two controllable foci for knockback making cornering a snap. Robots care little how far they run to chase down targets blown back by storm. I took a page from the Mighty Storm's book of travel powers and went with a combat teleport to aid in manuvering. Queuing up gale so it goes off when I teleport next to a target is a HUGE innovation.
I am getting all aflutter and will probably roll another Bots/Storm now that the Protector Bots don't get stuck on seeker drones.

HelinCarnate:OMG it is so terrible. I have the option to take 3 more powers but no additional slots. Boo F'ing hoo.

So, Tech for Weather and Tech for Robots works perfectly, and its pretty much the easy/obvious choice.
Anyway, Robots/Storm is awesome. Also, in my opinion, Electric Blast is kinda unsatisfying. So, I'd go with the Mastermind.

Yea in looking i see Electric isnt the best way to go.
I do like the look of Fire/Storm but i wonder how that compares to Bots/Storm Fire and storm are such a TIGHT build very vew bad powers and worse you will never have any power left to use any of the cool abilities. the reason i said bots was to me it frees me up to be able to use my storm abilities since im not having to manage the bots to much.
but Fire/Storm gets both RoF and Freezing rain or whatever the storm one is called. the 2 together could be a lot of fun.
another downside i found for fire storm is AGRO. your crap thin and the agro could kill ya. Where as with a bots storm ya get some more health withthe bodyguard and less agro.
those r just some of my thoughts.
Also as for storm and bots working well. i looked at it this was. My guy is a Storm Demon all whicked and supernatural looking. But I am a smart demon and have tortured scientists in to creating bots for me to use. Since if my pets were human they would fly all over. the Robots are heavy enough to withstand my Whether pattern. i kn9ow its a stretch but it works./
