Does the proc on that happen when I cast the spell, or does it apply to the imps I summon and give them a chance for build up every time they attack?

The SBA proc works two ways:

1. It has a chance to proc on you at the time you summon the pet with the IO slotted, and
2. Will check for every attack the pet it's slotted in uses once that pet is summoned.

I believe it applies to their attacks based on the observed performance of other procs in pets.

So it's a bit of column A and B then. Even more better

that's cool. i didn't know it could proc on you. Although, the chances are pretty low cause you not going to be summoning you pet sooo much that it can.
On the other hand, it'll proc heaps for your pet/s cause it's chance is for EVERY attack.

Just remember your pets attack has to cycle fast enough to get the benefit of the proc.

Or the power summons multiple pets (Imps, MMs, etc) since the pets can proc it separately.

Okay after doing some testing with this enhancement i have a few things to say. I did my testing on my Master Mind for starters. It seems that the build up buff is put onto the pet who proced the effect, and not the master. If the power it is slotted into summons multiple pets, only the individual pet who procced the build up will receive the buff. When I was testing it the build up buff proced very often, and if your pet is quick enough it's possible the buff could stay up permanently. The buff boosts your pets accuracy and dmg by 30%

See again, this makes me think that with thugs the Thugs should get it over the Bruiser - they can stand there and shoot regularly whereas the bruiser has to run around a lot and use slower super strength animations...

or am I wrong?

keep in mind the t1s have a lower modifer and they are limited by being -2 to you so in most cases I'd say the t3 is your best bet

In DA and itrials I don't think they are -2, but even if they were, isn't that more reason to give them the extra damage?

The extra damage is a percentage, not an absolute amount. Twice very little is still very little, but twice a large amount is huge.

The percentage increase is the same, and according to Red Tomax it only lasts 5.25 sec, or basically one hit.
