Not quite a bug, but Banner issues and a fix.
We've long known that Statesman was a [censored]-less wonder. Sister Psyche has more [censored] than Statesman.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
Black Pebble is my new hero.
Yeah but still a little bit of shading would do wonders, even in the comics... Superman at least has SOME tackle... lol
Here is a way to turn off that background completely (Firefox).

I simply blocked it with the Adblock extension. As pretty as it is I simply don't need yet another 300+KB image downloaded while I wait. The previous forum's header was flash and that was simple enough to block automatically with Flashblock, another Firefox extension I run with due to my dial-up connection.

Try mine, it works with Opera
(See sig for more details)
And if anybody cares, I made a fix for the hero side of the header... Seems the size is sitting at a pretty darn beefy 1920x1569px

which is well WAY beyond what most average computers show.
So I Hacked it up and I present you the before and after of my hack job (and yes i know its two browsers but they both showed the same... Opera was used for its remarkable ability to edit the HTML of a website and apply the changes directly to local cache of the website your looking at.)
Heres the Before Image (with the header way beyond the edges)
And After I was done with it,
All nice and centered and easy to see.
annnd here is the After-Mod version of the City of Heroes Background image.
BTW Forum devs, the CSS "Background:" property can't scale images....yet. however CSS3 is capable of doing such once its released to the main public.
And I know this is gonna sound weird from a guy... but Statesman has no package.... Like at least fill it out a bit or somethin.... jeeze.
