Question on videos
I use WeGame. It's free. Try running it while actually playing first. If that's too painful, as it is on my ancient PC, just take a demorecord and WeGame it while playing it back.

I use WeGame here too, finally figured out how to get the sound to work! (I'm awful with this kind of stuff) But its pretty straight forward and produces good quality Video.
WeGame is the answer I think.
I actually use Fraps but it doesn't compress the videos so in Raw form I can get 30+gb of movies. Plus Fraps costs money for full functionality. I paid for the license a few years back.
I'm interested to know how you managed to get it to work. It never worked by me (I use XP SP3).

I can't remember offhand *which* one you are supposed to use but if you mess around with your recording properties you should be able to find that right one. At least that is what fixed it for me. (I was on Vista though)
Thanks for the answers yall.
A big thank you to ya'll for mentioning WeGame! I had tried to use FRAPS before, even the paid for registered version, and the quality of the videos combined with how much they lagged my machine made it impossible to use and play at the same time, it chewed up all of my system resources. It's nice to see that this program seems to have a small resource footprint yet still produces good quality videos. Thanks again!

My Screenies and Videos :: My Toon List
So when yall make your game videos what software do you use and how much does it cost? I wanna start doing stuff like that, just wondering what is good. Also, being as light as possible on resources would be ideal. I need to upgrade my computer and I'm a few months away from doing that.
