Sonic/sonic is a very versatile all-around type of defender. Other good candidates are Cold/* and Rad/* for all around benefit. One could argue any of the three is best. Cold has defense shields where you can slot Red Fortunes. I am sure there are other ways to maximize recharge reduction. Now let me daydream awhile about a team with a sonic/sonic and a Cold/ice both on a defebcer heavy team. MMmmmmm.

I have a Sonic/ sonic. I have it slotted with enough +rec that I can continuously buff and attack w/o issues. Now, "team support" defender-- I could see Leadership and Medicine pools being good choices. Now, it could be that with that many toggles, you may have issues. For a PPP, I would suggest Dark Mastery.

My evil plan is to build the best team supporting defender I can. After reading alot of posts the conclusion is that Sonic would be the best (if that is wrong well I'd love to hear it). The problem is Sonic/Sonic doesnt have a lot of IO slotting opportunities that boost what I want (which is I suppose recovery). So what would you recommend for me to do? Or is there another set that surpasses it when it comes to an IO build. Thanks for the help.
