Dispite the recent change of pets being unaffected by +recharge, they still get stuck in a certain power.
Quite often the bruiser only trows rocks, the big bot only shoots his laser, graveknights only spam that ranged dark attack etc etc.
but i thought fireball is part of upgrade 2? (along with char/RoF)

I got my Oni on wednesday so he still only has the first upgrade. I play almost exclusively in mellee by using bodyguard mode to run just past the mob i want to fight and turning to face them. All of my ninja are in mellee then. When I'm doing this my Oni will cycle all of his attacks, including fireblast. If for whatever reason he finds himself at range then he seems to just spam ring of fire. Oh and I use grant invis on all of my ninja, not sure if this would have an influence.
Fireball is part of Upgrade 2, but Fire blast is one of his original powers.
Since I made this post, he's actually started using Fire blast, regardless of distance, but he does use RoF proportionally more than all the other powers.
Be interesting to see what happens with the next upgrade.

From my experience, Bots cycle all their powers normally. AND no longer get stuck on seeker drones! 
So, yeah, bad luck to everyone else, really

Recently got my Ninja Oni for the first time and was awaiting a fire blaster type combo.
Except all he does is spam Ring of Fire. Occassionally, he might deign to use his sword or Fire Breath, but I haven't once seem him use Fire blast.
This is regardless of whether he's in melee or at range.
Is this a known bug or is the Oni just rubbish generally?
Shame really, because I've been enjoying this MM combination.
