True. It'd be realy nice if they'd hire some with more sympathy towards us roleplayers when we're griefed but hey, ideal world, no?

On the video at 40 seconds you see the drop down menu for ratings. How come we havent got that many options?

[/ QUOTE ]

Most of those seem to be GM tools for filtering through arcs and check which have been banned, pulled for content etc and not something that's useful to players.

I thought we got a 'Comments' thing, now? Or does the author not see the comments page?
Or, actually, does it send the message to 'comments', which is then relayed via tell to the player?
-Confused-

I've never once seen a GM respond to an RP griefing petition in all my time in the game, and I've been here since EU beta.

The problem with RP griefing petitions is that it's easy for someone to stop doing it, and if that's the case, no GM will witness it firsthand, meaning that chat/game logs are the only way to find out what actually happened, which means the GM in question doesn't need to appear at the RP site for it to happen.

I believe the Galaxy City Arena Confuse bug griefer got a ban (if only a short one), but that is, admitedly, rumour and hearsay.

The wisdom of Shadowe: Ghostraptor: The Shadowe is wise ...; FFM: Shadowe is no longer wise. ; Techbot_Alpha: Also, what Shadowe said. It seems he is still somewhat wise ; Bull Throttle: Shadowe was unwise in this instance...; Rock_Powerfist: in this instance Shadowe is wise.; Techbot_Alpha: Shadowe is very wise *nods*; Zortel: *Quotable line about Shadowe being wise goes here.*

A day or two ago MA chat is Atlas descended into foul-mouthed abuse the kind of which I have never heard in all my years in Paragon. I did request a GM attend to lay down the law but instead got an email back asking if I could detail the logged chat and to take their names. I'm sorry I did my part by reporting it and although willing to moderate and temp-Ban on Union's global channels, I did not want to overstep my remitt as just another EU.player and try and settle the situation myself that was going on over local and broadcast.

It needed a GM to appear and lay down the law quickly to stop the on-going flare-up and that didn't or couldn't happen unfortunately. Needless to say things went from bad to worse.

Could of used one yesterday during the French spam protest in Atlas park. Was getting rather heated especially when people started flinging the cliche xenophobic slurs everywhere.
Got better after the mapserver disconect though as there was less spamming on both sides.
Shame really as people reporting the event got that dumb email as well.

It's not running away. It's advancing in reverse!

You never know... Maybe that was deliberate? Chucking everyone off is a good way of shutting down a row...
