exactly, as posted in another thread, how do you cater for all sides of the argument?
allow same sex unions and you please some while annoying others
allow polygamy and you do the same
allow inter-species ? same

personally I think it opens too many cans of worms and while there is nothing wrong with the idea, the way to cater for the most players would be to leave marriage out of the equation.
