Writers wanted for multi-arc collaboration

Hi all,

I'm interested in doing a large series of self-consistent arcs spanning multiple dimensions and timelines (and character levels/skills/alignments) all relating to a single villain AfterMind who has sinister (obviously) plans for restructuring reality. I'm looking for people interested in collaborating on this project. Several character groups are already created for the project that can be used/tweaked/ignored as needed.

Anyone interested please post here with your global handle and a mission or arc you've done that highlights your skills.

As per my own cv (global @Crossfire Cyclone), you can check the story arc Paragon X: Portents of Doom (ID: 3038) to judge my work if you'd like.

Oh, I'd definitely be interested - I just don't have anything to show yet. I literally only used the MA for the first time two days ago; I've never been on TC during Beta, and I was away over the weekend after I14 went Live.

I'm currently working on my first two arcs, but I don't expect to get done with even one of them before next week or so...

But anyway, my global is @Ailar, I can let you know once I publish something (or maybe even when the whole thing is ready for testing)

Sounds like an interesting Idea, this. Was planning a similar thing within Vanguard Angel/Justice Enforcers Supergroups. Minor points on the arc tho, still working on the custom mobs. Not really up on all the sets and balance may be an issue, still finding my way around.

Sounds intriguing. Contact me and I'd love to hear what you had in mind.

This is a fun idea. Here are the things I find interesting...

1. It's like that game where each person says one word of a sentence. This gives a lot of creativity to them.

2. You could have an overarching plot, and tell each person what situation you want by the end of their arc, but tell them that what happens in between is up to them. This is (I think) like TV series where people are draughted in for just one episode.

3. You could just let each person make a new arc and leave it at that, with no overarching plot, so it is simply a baton handed from one author to the next (as is done with comic books). This allows authors to put their stamp on it, but also means that things could get derailed, characters killed etc.

You could also do branching storylines with one person writing an arc for one option, while someone else writes the alternative. Someone did suggest this in another thread, but you are somewhat limited if attempting such a thing by one's self by only having the three arc slots.
