Mouse Misaligment, any suggestions please?
I had this issue previously when I was using my old PC. it seems to be an ATI issue as I don't have it on my current PC which uses a Nvidia card. not much help I know but I think it's a graphics issue.

@Miss Chief
It may be related to a mismatch in your monitor's native resolution and the resolution you are playing in. I've run across very similar issues in the past that were resolved by restoring the game to a standard resolution supported by my monitor. In the most recent case, the game window had been forcibly resized to fill the screen, but the game wasn't recognising this properly and resulted in similar symptoms to those you describe.
Try running the game in the same resolution as your monitor's native resolution and see if the problem remains. If you normally play witht he game windowed, instead of fullscreen, try switching to full screen and using the same resolution as your normal desktop resolution.
OK not sure why but there are 3 options for 1680x1050 and I have just tried them all.
Result is the same in each case, the mouse pointer is still above its correct place.
Thankyou for trying though any other ideas welcome.
Has anyone come accross this issue before and know of a fix please.
It is most obvious in COX but interferes with other games requiring clicking on powers to activate.
When moving an enhancement from the tray into a power the mouse pointer/hand is slightly above the token resulting in a clumsy feeling to the movement sometimes requiring several attempts to grasp and drag.
Also misses powers when clicking to activate, and if dragging an inspi to a minion i end up swallowing it myself.
I have tried many fixes such as driver re-install and roll back to 2 previous versions for the gfx card. Same for the mouse, also tried a new mouse. I have checked and updated all other drivers where appropriate.
Logged into another system on my account and it works perfectly, logged my mouse into the other system also works fine.
system spec as follows:-
MSI P45 Neo3 motherboard
Mushkin DDR 2 4GB
Intel Core2 Duo E8500
ATI Radeon Club 3D 4870
1024MB GDDR5
Western Digital Caviar GP1 TB
Mist 500wts ATX 2.2/24pin rev 3
Antec performance 1 P182 Chassis
Mouse is a Logitech MX620 laser cordless
Endless searching of forums only turns up something similar for users of Vista the fix for which does not exist for xp users.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated
