No - my arc is not $*&%! invalid

I believe that the arcs (well, mine, anyway) are no longer marked as invalid when anyone on Zukunft/Vigilance accesses them. However the players on these servers cannot play the affected arcs yet.

If you modified your arc to let German/French players play them then you have probbaly taken the better, medium-term route.

Now that the arcs aren't marked as invalid for everyone I'd imagine that the problem could easily fall very low down the devs priority list. Let's face it, EU players in general don't usually seem to make it far up the priority list, so an issue only affecting the odd-weirdo-euro-speak servers ain't gonna register high.

Well I have yet to find a way to find out WHAT exactly is wrong with arcs that are unplayable from Zukunft. One of mine is like that and neither the English nor the German client is showing any errors. My best guess is that it is some word that is okay for the English lists of blocked words but not for the German list but WHAT exactly it is I have no way of telling.

I bring bad news... It seems the problem is not as resolved as we would like it to be after all.

When I try to start an arc from Zukunft now and it doesn't start it does not get marked as invalid anymore or disappear from search. BUT when I now try to start it from Union it doesn't start from there anymore either.

So basically they have just removed the invalid flag but trying to start it from Zukunft or Vigilance still seems to break it. Which means the only way to find out if it is still valid (startable) now is to regularily try starting it yourself and republishing if it doesn't work anymore.

Thanks Ashuroa. I've passed this along to make sure the dev team are aware that the problem is persisting.

At least we know that the dev team will have told the servers to send an email to them and log their actions when anything is happening that would have previously set the 'invalid' marker...

Shame that I only just spotted this after downtime starts - so if my arcs are broken when I return I won't know if they were broken before the downtime/patch or by the downtime/patch.

Continuing with the bad news:

The Servers are up again, but the proplem of invalidating / inaccessible arcs persists entirely unchanged.

I was able to invalidate all my arcs by trying to access them from Zukunft, which made them unacccessible but still visible on Union, and had to republish them to revalidate.

No change at all.
