New fire/kin powerteam

I have a message from Archie to say that he's very sorry, but won't be able to make it to tonight's team. I'll be around, though, and we'll both be here for tomorrow's team.

SOrry folks but it look slike I'll be missing tonights session.

I'd forgotten that I'm at a ratpack tribute concert tonight - that's what I resort to when the Infest darkwave/industrial festival gets cancelled...

Well, JD actually did show up after all, but after 15 minutes I chose to go chat with old friend Glen and Missy JD got some unexpected attension I guess...

Ack! We're both really sorry, guys. We were away for the weekend, didn't get back until quite late, and then just completely spaced on the fact that it was Sunday and we had the team. We'll see you tomorrow.

We're really sorry about missing the team tonight. I was feeling a bit unwell, so I went to bed for a nap which turned into a rather longer nap than I was expecting, and Archie was writing code and didn't notice the time. Hopefully, we'll see you next weekend. Sorry, again.

Well, sort saw this coming....

Yes, indeed, I've got the swine flu. Not kidding! One of the, erhm, advantages of working in a school with 3.000 pupils: You knew it was just a question of time.

The good ol' Doc's expecting me to recover sometime this week, but I'm also so dead bored of CoX I can't stand the idea of even a single, quick ITF. Now, I've been bored quite often, for quite some time, but this time it's really, really bad. I just don't see the point in playing the game anymore.

Seeing that most of my in-game buddies feel the same, I'm taking some time off so I can hopefully enjoy I17 and/or GR. Most likely those will be another one-shot and I'll leave the game permanently - never thought I'd really concider that - and concentrate on real life(tm).

Right now, pinching hair out of my nose is more enjoyable. Try it, you might like it! Still hope you ppl enjoy your fire corrs, was fun while... it was still fun... sort of...

Sorry, I missed this when you posted it. I hope you're feeling better from the flu! Enjoy RL in your break from the game, and I do hope you'll be back refreshed at some point. It was a lot of fun teaming with you :-)

After a long run (compared to the previous fire troller team) we finally got Blastaria to 50 tonight (about a month after Flaming Sing Star, Speedburn and Roach Burn).

So big gratz to all - was a fun 6 months teaming on the corruptors.

We're thinking of maybe starting a new team up - maybe starting just Monday nights then possibly switching to Sundays. Thought I'd mention it here so Sing can see... we're still trying to decide exactly what we may try. Not even sure if it'll be blueside or redside...

I'm taking the biggest break from the game ever. I usually log on every day, but lately I've been gone for up to 8-9 days and I don't miss it for a second. With my current work load I don't really have time either. Unless there's some funky new set in GR I can't see myself doing another new toon.

I'll stay in-game, upgrade characters and do occational ITF runs etc, so I'm not leaving. No good bye thread yet, but I'm gonna be one of those legends people talk about: Yes, it's true, I saw Sing Star in Cimerora yesterday, he really exist!

"Yeah, I remember I teamed with him once way back when the game was only five years old!"

Doing the Master of badges this weekend, I hope. Would be fun to team again for it.
