Global Recharge Bonus Capped?

I have just slotted my brute. By my count, I should get +40% recharge global recharge bonus from all the sets I have slotted in. But when I look, it only has +25%. Is that 25% the cap for global recharge set boneus for brute?

Please help.

If you've slotted 8 sets all giving +5% recharge, then it's working exactly as it should.

You can only benefit from 5 copies of the same set bonus, regardless of which set it comes from, so for (a hypothetical) example, if you slot 2 resistance sets, 1 defence set, 2 PBaOE sets and 3 Melee Damage sets, all of which include a +5% recharge bonus, then you would get +25% recharge, not the +40% you may be expecting.

Not sure if that's any help or not.

Oh, and no, the global recharge cap for Brutes is NOT +25%

I have 4 melee sets that give +5% each;
1 taunt set gives +5%; and
3 defence sets give +5% each.

Would I still get only +25% in this case?

Yep, the 5% bonus, a maximum of 5 times.

The forum boards are hosted on us servers, board time = server time modified by uk adjustment, however as the us has already adjusted it's clocks before europe it throws systems like this out of sync for a few weeks.
