Widescreen + Enhancement Scrn

Is there a way to stop the enhancement screen from stretching when using a widescreen resolution?

I wouldn't mind if it meant putting black bars at the sides of the screen and faking 4:3, but the stretching is horrible.

What does your enhancement screen look like? Stretched? Are the circles more like ovals?

I use widescreen and my enhancements are still circles.

Are you sure you're using a widescreen resolution option? When I got my widescreen monitor, things were stretched out for a while... Until I noticed that the game seems to really not want to change resolutions unless I do it like 20 times in a row (but that's another bug for another thread). Everything looked fine once I changed to a fullscreen resolution.

Using 1680x1050 here, and every window that use the entire screen (enhancement, respec, tailor etc.) looks just right.... circles and all

Edit: note however that 1680x1050 is also my native desktop resolution

I used to get ovals, but now that i play in windowed mode and maximized the window to my desktop, so actual resolution is like 1680*970 or so, i see em as circles.

hmm.. Aren't there 2 different resolutions for UI and the 3D? Maybe on your system one is widescreen, while the other isn't?

Have widescreen at home, circles are (almost) right...
