I really don't think it would be worth it. Mobs shouldn't last long enough for the procs to kick in. You'd be better off spamming roots, unleashing tornados, etc.
Edit: As for Roots, I simply love Gravitational Anchor's proc (chance for hold). It's invaluable for any AoE focused troller, imo.

Ah, right - thanks for the replies guys! On a side note, does Roots have enough -kb to just use Tornado as damage power? And would the chance for smashing damage proc be with it in Tornado?

[/ QUOTE ]Yes and yes; though I'm unsure how good the proc would be, as I'm pretty sure it rolls for a proc chance only once every 10 seconds.
Enhanced Tornado for damage like you would an attack, though; it's worth it.
Hey guys, was wondering if a gale with multiple procs in it would be considered a decent source of damage for my new Plant/Storm Controller? I know Roots is very good damage so was hoping to pair the two for a nice punch.
Any thoughts?
