pass it would be nice if they had something happen of course with some members of omega making it back maybe that changes things.

It would be a bit lame if it wasn't opened, given that it's written into game lore.
However, we're seeing more and more examples of game lore being ignored - so I wouldn't be surprised if this gets totally overlooked.

I think it would be great to have an event ( would have to run several over a weekend at least ) for this, perhaps a badge for attending the opening ceremony?
War Memorial
The sacrifice of Hero 1 and the Omega Team still hangs in the minds of those that survived the Rikti War.
Perhaps use an instance of the Atlas Park fashion parade from the Ouroboros arc or something and re-populate it with an event ceremony setup?
Owners of the above badge could also get an accolade giving +dam for 30 seconds or something along the lines of an enrage power?
Defence of the Realm
Activating this power gives a short damage buff to yourself and those around you, the sacrafice of those that fell in the Rikti War, will never be forgotton!

Hope so - then the typo in the capsule info wouldn't keep bugging me.
Not a biggy but, iirc, it was only the best part of 3 years ago that I first /bug'd it.

Seventh anniversary according to game timeline (not real time), means seven years after the Rikti War ended on 27th November 2002. This means that the Time Capsule should be opened on 27th November 2009.
So, is anything planned? Some sort of special game event?
