Application? As in what you run on the computer? If so, the short version of that's just "app".
If that is what you're after, isn't what you're asking for effectively a free US account for every EU account? I can see them deciding that's not going to make them a lot[1] of extra money...

If I understand correctly, the suggestion is to allow EU players to choose to connect to the US servers instead (I think)? I play on the EU servers from Canada, so it's certainly not impossible in principle - in fact, I think you can do that right now if you want, just hunt down a US copy of the game and install it, then sign up for a US account and cancel your EU one. You'd be starting from scratch in terms of characters, though, since the days of being able to transfer from US to EU are long gone.
If that's what the OP wants to do, you don't even need to hunt down a US copy of the game; just open a US account and rename (or copy) the updater to CohUpdater.exe from CohUpdater.EU.exe
Aside from the occasional brief period when one side applies an update before the other, the client software's absolutely identical.

IIRC correctly you can create a US CoX account and apply that to your existing NCSoft master account. Won't that do what you're after?

Though he/she could cancel one or other of their subscriptions depending on whether they want to play U.S. or EU side. I guess that could prove to be to difficult to manage in the long term however.
Yeah, I was sort of assuming that would have to be done with the subscription the OP didn't want.
Only sort of, though, as I'm still a little hazy on whether the actual suggestion in the OP was essentially "be able to open a US account while living in the EU". If it was, well and good, as that's been an option from game launch.
Basically, its a request to merge the EU and US Server lists. Which has been suggested before. I know actualy server merges are frequent-request topics, cant remember if list merges was.

Not really a merge, but just 1 sub for both servers.
Even if you now take 2 subs, you loose your entire veteran reward system. Its kinda what GW has done, servers are still seperated from eachother, but you can freely swap between them.

in GW, the names are already global checked, but in COX the names are per server.

Thats exactly the same thing. Instead of having an EU lsit and a US list you have a list with both EU AND US servers on. So you can pick from any. Unless you've got me really flippin confused.

Hey i just med my friend that have 2accs one on US and one on EU... i was jealous when i heard that on US server are about 5times more players.. but i like to play on EU too and i cant afford to pay 2x 13euros per month lol... So why you can just make some aply that cost same as game and than we can just sply serial code to our EU accounts(like mac version) and play on US server with out veterans etc...
