What a great weekend on CoH/V I've had

Yanno, it's funny but I've had three weekends like this on the trot.
Sod the Naysayers and doom merchants... I've spent the last 3 weekends mostly on Defiant Villains and I've been beating potential team members off with a big stick.
I think we are seeing a combination of things:
a) It's just after Xmas so everyone's too skint to go out
b) the "credit crunch" has everyone in hiding.
c) people have got the holidays out of the way and rediscoverd just how damnably good this game really is.
d) I13 has actually got a lot for every player, new and old.
Whatever the demographics, it's great to see

Nice to know you had a great time mate. My weekend was also very nice. I did many TFs. Only 3 on Sunday (ITF, STF, Synapse ) and i guess that alone makes me deserve the nick name some folks used sometimes, TF [censored].
So i also want to thank again Stryke, Mr. Marvelous, Defcon Kid, Armour Man and all others who did those events fun. But i think most important one is Salacious for setting up that great channel and all the players in it whose're making me love the game and community more.
Thanks Knightly, a big thank you to you both for making my first weekend back as a hero a good one.
Started Friday at 7pm with a some work on my Alts getting them slotted up, I'm very bad at keeping up with this side of the game.
Logged of after it (been up since 4:45am)
87 team deaths later we completed it 
Time for a bit more solo work then logged of for tea.
Completed except the member that wanted it fell of the server near the end 
A bit more solo work.
At 10pm I had to log up at 4:45am 
I went out with my main Corrupter get a blind tell and for once I signed up big mistake. in team chat I said "hi" and waited for a reply and waited and waited. After about 3 mins I quit the team and done some solo work until about 10pm. I noticed on Defiant Events that a LGTF was forming quick post in events to save a place for my blaster. Spent a few hours in good company and got the badge
Saturday 1:45pm logged on with my Lvl50 Scrapper for a SG run Mender Silos TF. While I was waiting for the others to nice tells asking if I wanted to join teams replied to both thanking them but couldn't. We started with a full 8 person team. But to make it "interesting" we ran it on Invincible
Back on at 6:45 (Union this time) for the regular Saturday night Flying Circus team. Great fun as ever. We broke up at about ten. I noticed that on Defiant another LGTF was forming. Quick change of server and signed up. Another success
Sunday on at 12:45 to do Posi TF for a member of my SG (SuperNation). We wanted to make it a smaller team so 4 of us set out for the most boring of all TFs (IMO)
Back on at 6:45 for the Mother Ship Raid, thanks to Searing Empress for running this every week
After the raid more solo work until a tell asking if I wanted to join a team. Did so I was very glad I did great team
