What I did was get one of my parents credit cards, with their permission of course, and added that to my file on the billing page. As my account still had paid time, nothing was charged. Then you log in game and buy your character slots, apply them to your account, log out and remove the credit card from the file by deactivating billing, then just pay the cardholder the ammount.
No problem asking.
Are you on a trial account? If so i dont know what the correct answer is.
If you are on a full retail account though, you can just change your subscription type to credit/debit card and go via that way. You will not be charged a subscription fee until your gametime runs out (which is always a bonus)
Note: I do believe that you *CANNOT* do this with Maestro cards however (buy the extra character slots, server transfers)
OK, thanks for the help, i should be able to solve this now.
I was just gonna buy some character slots for my account but i don't have a credit card on file at the account page. So i read that the only way to get one on file is to activate or reactivate an account, does this mean i have to buy a months playtime just to get a credit card on file so i can buy some character slots? I can ask these kinda questions here right? Plaync has a really complicated support system . . .
