Immob Resist

Hi,

I'm about to respec my Ill/Kin and was wondering if there was a way to get some immob resist so that I can drop Combat Jumping.

Anyone know?

Resits, yes, but I would guess Psiphon actually wants Immob protection.

Protection stops you getting Immobalised. There is none available via inventions.

Resist reduces the duration. You can get it in quite a few invention sets, but you would need to stack an awful lot to make much difference.

Also 100% resist to a status means it last for half its duration.

The caps been raised though, so if you can get 300% resist it will reduce the duration to a quarter.

Thanks for the replies guys; you're right I was after immob protection.

Damn - looks like CJ stays, I'll have to look elsewhere for something to drop.

Yes as a KIn you do.
I've been playing /Kin since i4 and during that time the majority of hospital visits have been caused by immob - being unable to get in range of a mob to fire of Transfusion.

I play my controller very aggressively, he's in melee 99% of the time and free movement is a big part of his damage and survivability.
He plays very differently to say a /TA or /Storm where you play at range and movement is less of an issue.

Fare enough, I tend to stay well back with my Illusion /TA.

The movement you get from CJ must benefit your playstyle though (I use it a lot on my dom), so keeping it would seem a good idea.

I would just like to say that my level 50 Ill/Kin controller does not have, and has never had, Combat Jumping, and I have never felt the lack of it

But then, I play her in a style that says "if someone is shooting at me, I have made a serious error of judgement".


DCUO and CO will never see my money. The Citygame will keep seeing my money for as long as I keep enjoying it
