While pre spring cleaning my account i noticed i had a bs/fire sitting around at level 20. I gave him a whirl and saw that parry gave survivability.
Now i have always wanted to io a high st damage scrapper but i have trouble getting ranged cap, 20% melee and get recharge into it.
Also correct me if i'm wrong but does +hp make my heal stronger?
Could anyone give me any other ideas for slotting or general advice for bs/fire?
Oh and is the passive in fire useful now?
Thankful for any advice you might have.

Just get both of the fire shields and tough and slot them. Dont worry about positional defences, instead get +recovery, +regen and +rech. +HP isnt a bad choice either, although it doesnt make your heal stronger because it's defined by your base HP.

If you have problems surviving (dont take alphas!) with parry (double stack if needed), +HP, +regen, and a heal up every 15-20 seconds you're doing something wrong

Well ranged isn't hard (\o/ i13 sets) it's just the melee that gives me headaches. But i guess i can stop at 10 and still work with double stacked parry.
Oh btw temperature protection yay or nay?
Also ideas on a st attack chain?

If you slot parry adequately (2 def, 2 acc, 2 dam for example) 0 def is enough with double stacked parry.

Browser i'm using keeps screwing up titles oh well sent a pm to gr and hopefully he can change thread title after the weekend.

perhaps it's a better solution to drop the 2 damage slot for 2 recharge in order to double stack parry +def imho

The defence build looked a bit gimped so i deleted it, overall i´m having a hard time to slot fiery aura

Great toon but I found my BS/Fire despite having amazing power was always out of endurance too quick! Gave the impression it was abit like Mike Tyson in PvP. If peeps could ride the opening first couple of rounds then Id get owned!
