Soloed my first AVs!

This was suppose to be a PM to Cynic, but I accidentally posted it here... lol

My latest AV machine took down Chimera in 9 mins. The usual no insps no temps.
Going to work through Maria tonight.
Screen shots to follow.
DM/SR/BM btw.
What attack chain were you using?
smite, siphon life, smite, shaddow maul. Rinse etc.
I currently have an 6s downtime in hasten due to still needing to slot a couple more IOs.
Nightstar took alot longer, over 25mins. I guess she has some neg en rez or much higher regen.
Bobcat was a inbetween but hit me a lot more than the others. I guess due to claws acc bonus.
When I solo AVs I use Smite, siphon life, midnight grasp, smite, dark blast, siphon life, midnight grasp..............
It was terrible against Black Swan though and I threw Shadow Maul in instead of MG

You should take Shadow Maul out of your attack chain. It is providing you with less DPS. Try to edit with your attack chain and replace Shadow Maul with Midnight Grasp and create a new attack chain with it from there. Well, I'm not telling you to, but it will make your AV soloing a whole lot easier
Considering that you're only six seconds away from perma-Hasten, you obviously have a lotta recharge.
If you have the recharge for it (which you probably do), you could use this attack chain:
Midnight Grasp>Smite>Siphon Life>Smite.
It's the best ST attack chain for DM/ Scrappers since it provides the most ST DPS. No other DM/ attack chains (for A Scrapper) will deal more ST DPS than this! Using this attack chain will obviously allow you to kill AV's a lot quicker

Nightstar has 30% resistance to NE damage and 50% to smashing damage. This takes major effect on your attack chain since you have two powers (SM and Smite) which deal a mixture of NE and smashing damage, and a power (Siphon Life)that deals pure NE damage.
I guess this also supports my previous query of removing Shadow Maul from the attack chain. Smashing damage is resisted a lot when it comes to pve

Bobcat has Follow Up. If it hits, she will gain a damage and ToHit bonus. The duration of Follow Up is ten seconds.
Anyway, gratz on soloing them without insp's and temp's! I would personally class these three AV's as difficult or/very difficult. Well, maybe not so much on Nightstar, but considering her resistances and your attack chain, I'll give you another gratz on that, also

My mis-type.
What I meant to say was smite, siphon life, smite, midnight grasp with a shaddow maul chucked in the hasten downtime to pad out.

Now that this thread is here again I decided to try something... Soloing an AV with my Kat/Inv scrapper.
AV of choice was Chimera, not a dangerous AV by any means for the combination of powersets presented. He had a level 52 minion helping him throughout the fight because I wanted to concentrate on the AV and the minion wasn't posing a threat. He fell eventually, but the fight did take a while thanks to his 25% S/L resistance. I didn't use inspirations or temps and, in fact, didn't even have to touch Dull Pain during the whole fight.
Note, though, the nature of this "experiment" was not to seek challenge, but rather try out the sustainability of my attack chain. Turns out that I can chain it indefinitely with the help of Conserve Power. I'd let my endurance drop to 10-20%, hit CP, and I'd be back to full before CP ran out. Then I'd be around the 10-20% mark when CP was up again which means that we have an indefinite cycle.
I might try some more challenging AVs now that I know I can keep my attacks going without the help of inspirations, although I think I will need help in case the AV is capable of draining endurance (Synapse and his evil copy spring to mind).
The build I used is available in the link in my signature. And if anyone would like to know the attack chain it is GDF > GC > SD > GC > DA > repeat with BU thrown in before beginning with GDF if it was up.

One more down on the Kat/Inv, this time Shadowhunter. The fight was just as easy as against Chimera, never went below yellow on HP and didn't have to touch Dull Pain or any insps/temps.
Sadly I messed with the screenshots somehow and none of them were saved.
Anyways, the fight took a bit over 10 minutes judging by the mission timer. It was prolonged a bit thanks to his Earth's Embrace.

So I decided to try something similar to Jeff's achievement which was 4 AVs at once and I ended up trying 3 of them. Being /invuln I was a bit wary of even going for more than two of them at one time because the only thing I had to get me back from red HP would be Dull Pain which is on quite a long recharge.
Anyways, the AVs were Agent Indigo, Hro'Dtohz and Chimera.
No real surprises over the course of the fight and I was only once near defeat, but managed to hit Dull Pain in time to save me.
Will post pics later on if wanted.

Gratz buddy! That's very impressive!
It's likely that you could solo more if you add ambushes for Invincibility fodder.
Yeah, possibly so. Might try it after DXP!

With temps I have no doubts that a firetank could solo GW (stuff her Soul Storm and Black hole she won't be "allowed" to use it 90% of the time and at the times where she could, pop the lucks and cross the fingers).
