I'd love to see some more original powersets, like the dual blade combo system.
a new villan unlockable archetype...the void stalker...
tintable power auras.
Defender/controller pets finally get a command bar bringing them up to power with MM pets.

Examples.
Zip line / grappling hook, could also be used to pull single enemies from a mob.
Feral bound, you are in touch with the animal within you and can bound on all fours at vastly heightened speed.
Hover disc / hover board, would behave just like fly only it would have animations pertaining to the interaction of the character with the disc/board ,it could also be customised just like the weapon customisation already ingame..including unlockables.
Graphics upgrade and some content that had challenge and a need for actual co-operation and tactics.
Wouldn't mind the Devs completely abandoning the idea of co-operative zones and switch focus on zones like Ourb that are shared, but separate.

Okay, dear devs, please bring me a pony, a plastic rocket, Nathan Fillion, a really big tub of belgian chocolate icecream and...
- The Lightside / Darkside meter - with missions and options opening up based on your actions.
- Vehicles. With fins. Big shiny fins.
- The long-promised Moon/Orbiter Zone.
- The chance to visit stately Sinclair Manor, meet Virginia Bowman and take Wyvern missions, break up a raid on a charity ball, and sneak into the MantiCave.
- Kirby Memorial Airport - so we can go fight crime in (instanced maps of) Paris, London, NYC, Sydney, San Fran and Key West.Not that there's a huge amount of crime in Key West, but it's good for recharging solar energy
- Research Station Atlantis - explore the ruins of Mu by sub, meddle with the secrets of Hequat (if you dare!), fight or befriend the Coralax and discover hidden treasures that could reshape the world itself...
- A Gadgets pool power set...
-> L6(1): Police Baton
-> L6(2): An Aliens-style movement tracker gadget to even things up against pesky Stalkers and find recalcitrant hostages, while scaring the hell out of players. Come to think of it, a mission with REALLY FAST Rikti Guard Beasts coming in waves would be fun...
-> L14: Body Armour (as per Munitions Mastery temp power)
-> L20: Jet Bike - 2/3 the speed of SS with 2/3 the jumping power of SJ
- More corsetry options and nifty boots.
...I'd settle for just Nathan Fillion, mind.

Mission Architect can be fun.
A TP-device that is located OUTSIDE the SG-Base, so you don't have to load everytime you actually make use of this (to me) pointless feature that bases is (to me). If that sentance seems strange; I mean that you get a TP menu instead of a list of bases to load up.
I'd like development of existing story lines that got started but seem to have been forgotten..

Other than that:
DX10 Support and a graphics update
Not only customisable power colours, but the ability to choose from a pool of animations that fire them, based on their activation time and draw source.
Vehicles / Mounts for natural origin characters (not gonna happen, but no harm in asking )
Serverless log in a la EvE (ditto)

1. Plans, marketing plans of sort may be, to drive up players population. It is a MMO after all:more the merrier.
2. See more reply and post from the Devs in this EU forum - starting with this post perhaps. I would love to see some Q&A sessions with the Devs, for instance once a month, answering or discussing some issues, dissions or debates raised by the players.
