You might be able to figure it out from the powers listed in the wiki.
You can pull up a master list of enemies from the "enemies" page. You can then drill down to the groups that you're interested in. The pages usually list the attack powers of each type of mob. In some cases, they list the type modifier as well. (e.g. the Rikti page) If you assume that the same power always has the same modifiers then you're home and dry. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if this assumption is correct!
I have a psy blaster. I'll see if I can find out what his modifiers are tonight.
I checked the tags on my blaster. All the powers that I have are tagged Psionic and Ranged or AoE. That certainly includes the ones commonly used by enemies.
The only oddity is Telekinetic Blast which does smashing as well as psionic damage.
I couldn't check Will Domination, Mind Probe, Telekinetic Thrust, World of Confusion or Scare as I don't have them!
Does anyone else know if enemy powers have the same tags as hero powers? (For the same power I mean.)
The enemy power that I think has its tag missing id dominate, but I'm not 100% sure

Like Arachnos fortunatas, night widows, mistresses/queens they psi attacks eat thru my defenses like they not there.
with other psi users like Rikti etc seem to be classed as ranged/whatever so i can defend against em.
Seems tied to certain groups, anyone know these more in detail?

The NPC versions of these all have buffs similar to their VEAT counterparts including a variant of Mind Link. So +tohit for them and if they are higher lvl they are very capable of getting past def. They aren't untyped positionally speaking its more the buffs they have with them.

Powers from Mind Control otoh don't show any positional type on the detailed info screen - although the basic description from mouseover shows them as ranged.
