I only just started the base building business for my SG so all of this is strictly I13 creations, yay! Still a noob at base building but I think I managed quite well;

Check point to teleporters, dont know if it's just my idea but I colour coded the teleporter rooms. Green = 1-20, Yellow = 20-35, Red = 35+. Thought it might be clearer for newcomers to navigate around.

where do you get the water from? :O :O
Water is IIRC Crafted Slow Field (look in the 2nd generation crafting table).
And that pool looks great. I tried it myself but for me the water just doesn't look that great. :'(

Hello, I made multi-level effect with "coffre-fort" (don't know how it's called in english, it's also works with lots of desks but you can't erase them as easily : must move it in another room) and linoleum, then desks. So, Put a desk or coffre-fort, then you can put what you want on it, then erase this desk

use the safe and the white floor piece (mat?) (it's next to the safe on the list on objects)
The safe is the easiest to stack, and the white floor thing can be built on any section of it, if you try with any of the other floor coverings you'll notice that you can't put anything on them.

Not getting the water effect from slow fields for some reason
Tried both tech and magic if it makes a difference. I dont know though if the "level" of the slow field is relevant, I only tried tier 3 slow fields of both categories.

if it's resting on the floor it can be hard to notive, but also check your graphics settings, you might not be able to see them because your graphics can't.
That might be it then. Going to try and elevate them a bit. Highest graphic settings so I guess that cant be it
