Mobs "loads slow"
In some of those cases it may be that the mobs spawning are ambushes spawned when you perform a specific objective although I have known one council map defeat all where it took twenty minutes after clearing the map for the ambush to spawn in a corridor I had run through 8 or 10 times
Mind of Gaia lvl 50 Defiant's first Mind/Storm 'troller.
Deadly Doc 50 Dark/Dark Corr
and lots more on Pinnacle,Union and Defiant

Yes, but that's unfortunately not my problem. This is mobs supposed to be on the map from the beginning... but it does seem like I'm alone having this problem. Something to brag about on the next party I guess.
I had it happen to me the other night. I was teaming with my wife, nothing ahead of me until the mob just appeared.
Happy to be on Defiant.

No, you're right. This will happen. The thing is the mobs aren't on the maps at the start, instead spawning points are. But the actual amount and types of mobs aren't generated until you get close to them. This is why there's no longer any need to reset a mission if you recruit more people.
Sometimes there seems to be a delay in triggering that spawning mechanism, or your client relaying it to you. Either some sort of lag issue, maybe related to the Mapserver you are connected too.
I've had it happen to me rarely as well. Nasty surprise when it does. But its never been too bad for me.

Yeah, been one of those days ... was bouncing between General and other forums using two browser windows and for some reason thought this thread was in General. Oops

DON'T CROSS THE STREAMS!!
Yes.
I've got one map with a mob of demons that often lets me run through their empty space then spawns just after I hit the next lot. While that's the only repeatable one I've got I've also seen the random ones across both English servers; including one time when the first boss (Keystone I think?) from the Frostfire mission spawned back at the mission entrance some time after I'd left the first floor.
At least ... I am no longer alone with my perrils!
Not the best headline but it is what very often happens to me and escpecially on the large outside maps. I run past a spot wheer you expect a mob but there isn't one. So I stop and turn around and then they are there. Or even worse... they appear just as I am in that very spot. Or even worse than that; they don't appear until much later.
The last bug/problem is obvious when it's for example a mission where you should free hostages. You run around looking for the last victim to save and then all of a sudden they are at a location where you have been before.
I have bugged this problem but a bit curious if anyone else has this problem? I can tell you it has nothing to do with lag; this happends every now and then without any correlation to the lag/non-lag.
