Tbh I'd view at as a form of cheating, because you have a head start before the people who don't play on test. And why should those people get accolades.

Whilst it may sound like a good idea, I'm with Phantoms on this one. Given the transient nature of test toons, in that they are eventually deleted, I understand wanting to keep a toon that you've built up on test. However, it is tantamount to cheating and open to exploitation. Imagine you had a character whose costume invited deletion, you could effectively store that toon on test, and if it was deleted on live it could be retransfered from test. Plus there's a whole bunch of other potentially game breaking stuff involved.

Obviously, because if a Issue was in beta and you transferred, youd basically be the only person to have the new powersets that are supposted to be coming in I13. Someone gets more than you because they actually took 5 mins to download it! And I'm serious on that last one.

Its test we talk about. When you copy from live to test, you can copy/dupe recipes, salvage money.
Thus through that system you could place alot of goodie stuff in the enchantments, fill the char up with lots of influence etc.. and when you get on live.. you have a maxed up hero with purples etc.. which you did not earn.
Definitly not what we need.

Copy 10x Maxed out character to test with, respec each character sell all enhancements. Or keep better ones, transfer 1 character to live = profit.

Beyond any exploits, there's the fact that Test is Test. There is no reason to believe the data on it is stable, or safe to copy to Live. Transferring something from Test to Live could result in you losing characters, the server crashing, all sorts of lovelly things.

This is to say nothing of the level boosts that can occur on test. You could have a level 35 character that you've never played in your life, and switch it over to the live servers. That just isn't cricket.

i know you can server transfer a character into the training room, but how about if we could transfer a test player onto the live servers available to Purchase when the next issue goes live?
if you choose to transfer a character you earn an accocalade badge called "Experimentalist" for heroes and "Test Subject" for villains
Luckily they can use the same system from the server transfer for US to EU (or the other way around) for thisform of transfer
