Guessing here that 'slots' refer to 'costume slots' giving rise to the possibility of switching between two otherwise identical costumes, one with wings and one without. I've done something similar on one of my tanks, 1 slot has him in a suit of steampunkish armour, another in the same armour but sans helmet.

i've got three cossies, one normal, one without the helmet too and one deluxe one which usually is gold to make the "deluxe" cossie but at the mo i have changed the colour to pink for the breast cancer awareness day (31st)
All my toons have many different costume flavours depending on how I'm feeling during the day.
Powerstar, for example, is a CSI as well as a superhero, so she has a caped Wonder Womanish number, an armoured battle suit for tough situations, and two "tribute" costumes to my favourite fabulous forensic factfinders: Catherine Willows (CSI:Original Flavour) and Abby Sciuto (NCIS).

If they were evil, you'd be able to buy costume slots and the ability to skip levels 1-20 from the NCSoft shop!
If they were truly evil yo8 could buy more then the 5 cossie slots per character you have now. Good thing they dont because now i can manage not to pay for more more more.
BTW grats on discovering cossie slots And grats of being at least lvl 20 or rich enough to be the event salvage!
There are 4 slots you unlock as you level, plus a 5th slot you can get with the special Halloween salvage - so just wait a couple of weeks for the Halloween event to begin

I would certainly pay for an extra slot on all my chars provided it was a one time payment and the costume came free at Icon/Facemaker
