How quickly people forget the news article from March this year when we in the EU ran our own similar competition, The Supreme Superbeings Awards which, although it wasn't funded, we had some prizes donated (*Snaps* for Mothers_Love again!)
It seems that this is the same situation in the US, it's just that their donated prizes are a bit more bling. (But then again, isn't that just the American way, see something from the old country and pimp it up? )
When we ran the Awards this year we did discuss doing it again next year around Easter (and I'm still up for it!) but of course community events etc... can be arranged by anyone so why not try it!
And if anyone wants a hand with organising something consider me an open volunteer to help out!
Oh, and GhostRaptor was a star with helping too!

i would never enter the contest even if i would have a big chance of winning, i really don't like AMD and ATI has failed me several times.
if they at least had a quatro core from Intel, maybe, but still.
Instead of running competitions through The Sun website (who's idea was that?) they should give stuff away in contests on the actuall EU site. I will call unfair since it bloody is!
Another States side only contest popped up in my email this morning. Now this isn't a post of "unfair" as I understand all about the restrictions of international competition laws etc. No, what I would like to ask is if there are plans for any similar competition(s) this side of the pond - all us cossie design freaks are gonna love this
