Hmm... You've managed to reign her in before, so I'm sure you can do it again.

Perhaps it would be best if, on her arrival, she joins Zori with trying to talk Ellie into a safer place?

[/ QUOTE ]
You're right, I'll likely reign her in during life RP, and with Zori there, she'd be more likely to keep her cool.

A point to consider. Do police actually have ANY jurisdiction inside a prison? I don't think they do. In which case, whilst she'd be allowed in, I'm not sure she'd be allowed to just barge through and take Ellie. Not without the proper paperwork.

She might get to the gates by 8:18, but it could easily take a lot longer to get to Ellie.

Of course, with her there, the situation has zero threat. Ellie is in no danger, absolutely none.

... Hell in a handcart. You do realise that even if you broke Ellie out, she'd then be wanted fugitive? That the Unity Vigil would be bound by duty to arrest her on sight? Zori couldn't even let her back home on her island without facing hellfire from the media if they caught wind.

The chaos in the Zig will cause the potential for a lot of people to get hurt, prisoners and staff. The Unity Vigil -will- face off against these attacks when they start, no matter how noble their intentions, or who is behind them.

[/ QUOTE ]

I was just thinking the same thing. I'm not creatively involved here, but perhaps I may make a suggestion: once it becomes known that there's something like a super-powered prison break going on, it wouldn't be very long before a response arrives that could involve any number of superheroes? Therefore, whatever happens in the Zig should be completed as fast as logic allows so as to prevent a mass of Capes arriving to complicate things. As much as I'd like Liberty Girl or Columbia to crash the party, it would probably only serve to muddy the water (and I'm looking forward to reading about it afterwards ). The ICA=ICC as far as this goes are better handled after the event?

Nice plottage - looking forward to seeing how this pans out!

She can't just take her out. She can, as part of an on-going investigation, take Ellie anywhere within the prison she likes for interrogation purposes.

You're assuming she's leaving that to chance and that she's a typical police officer. No one has ever asked about Section 19. Not once.

He wouldn't even see her. She'd walk right past him.

*Sticks a labyrinth of chompers, crushers, slicers, choppers, squishers, blenders and a TV showing Eastenders, in her way.

Hmm what Dan is saying does make sense, an explosion big enough to breech the walls of the Zig from the outside would probably reverberate around the neighbouring zones (Kings row, Faultline, the lower part of Independance port and the lower portion of Skyway city) not to mention incoming reports from any PPD and the level 30-40 heroes pottering around in the area.

Looks like Ed is going to have to make it as fast a smash and grab as possible...

Dodges the chompers and crushers, slides effortlessly past the slicers and choppers, dances elegantly over the squishers and blenders, and runs screaming from the TV set.

Is Eastenders actually still on TV? I haven't heard any mention of it in months.

The mission last night went awesomely, and everyone (I think) had a load of fun!

Due to some time constraints on my side, Ravenswing has kindly agreed to transcribe the logs into some fiction for you all to enjoy, so hopefully that will be available later today.

Thanks to everyone who took part, I had a ball!

It might be tomorrow depending upon how awake I get (bad night's sleep) and whether I think it needs flagging past others for any detail checks.

Now I'm going to go make coffee.

Right, first draft completed. Took about 6.5 hours of solid typing. If you lot don't like it, I shall hunt you all down and put bamboo shoots under your finger nails.

I'm going to go over it again in the morning and then post the result. if I look at it again now, I'll start screaming.
