Ouroboros - Enhancements have no effect

This does remove all set bonuses. Before setting an Oro arc, I had lines and lines in my 'personal info' section under powers. After setting an arc as "Enhancements have no effect", all the set bonuses were gone. And I'm slotted with many set onuses to include globals (Numina's Regen/Recovery) and several Purps.

The "Enhancements have no effect" setting does the following:
-Makes all powers act at their base level, as if unslotted.
-Disables all set bonuses, from regular, purple and PVP sets.
-Stops procs from firing.
In short, your enhancements will have no effect.

Does the "Enhancements have no effect" challenge also remove any set bonuses from your character for the duration of the challenge?
If yes, does it also remove set bonuses from Purples? I'm asking seperately abotu these, as they usually persist through exemplaring and the like.
