Why would you build a Claws/Elec?

Im not really sure why i made this in the first place but i really enjoyed it, and now its lvl 47, i was thinking about IOing it and decided to focus on defense and damage buffs.

I my main concerns are that im not to sure ho to slot shockwave and if i have the pool powers right.

I took Stamina as i could get + damage from in while conserve power offered nothing, would you recommend trying stamina less

i diddnt think i would need aid self as with the defence + resist i should be survivable enough to rely on respites, water spout and power surge in emergencies (and obviosly placate)
Also not sure how much i will miss hasten, ive never taken it on this toon and never really missed it.

Hi,

I recently started a Claws/Elec Stalker (L20) so your experience is clearly more than mine, I just wanted to mention the one observation I had about Stamina. I figured I wouldn't need it, reading the description and seeing 2 END conserving powers in the armour set. So I went for Hasten. Solo, I don't have any END worries running 3 armours and scrapping, but in teams I certainly do.

Teaming vs Soloing may influence your decision about the leadership powers too. If you build for solo you could drop Stamina, Maneuvers, Assault - but I don't know what you'd replace them with. The Fighting pool maybe. But then you might want Stamina back ...

I was thinking of taking Conserve Power, did you ever try it? Is it the poor slotting choices that put you off, or is the power not up to scratch?

Its true most stalkers don't really need stamina, Unfortunately i don't own a Claws/Elec, but i have had to ask myself the same question when i approach the 20's zone, "Will i need stamina on this toon?"
27 now and doing fine without. My roll as a stalker is simply to just help take out the "dangerous foes" such as a sapper for the Malta Group, Or Help take out the annoying illusionist from the Carnies etc. Take it at your own choice. If i remember correctly, Claws isn't so much on the end sapper as much as MA is currently so i doubt you'll have much problems with it tbh.

Edit: I Just had a second look at your build and noticed that your not taking steatlh, which would indicate your making a PvE stalker, am i right?

If so i would recommend taking Stamina unless you slot your conserve power to recharge every 3 mins and maybe even less with stamina on auto.

The build looks good so far, a nice well rounded PvE stalker.

I didnt need Stamina on my stalker till late 30's - then I noticed more as you are in missions where the 'Stab one boss to complete' theory doesnt work and more sustained fighting is required. Also for team play in later levels I felt it was unfair for me to play as a 'Stab One Miss a Few' member so my end suffered. I succumbed to the call of Stamina at about lvl 38 iirc
