Hello folks,

I was just checking my 'diary' and I noticed that the Birmingham International Comics Show (BICS) http://www.thecomicsshow.co.uk/ was coming up.

I understand that in the past NCSoft has attended this event, but it's not on the 'convention plan' for 2008. Did it get missed or was a decision made to support other events? I suppose Winter Memorabilia isn't that far off.

Anyway if there isn't an offical meet going on, is anyone planning on attending for maybe an un-official meet?

As has been mentioned a couple of times before, the next event that NC will be officially attending will be Memorabilia in November. I won't be able to go to BICS, but I hope anyone who does go has a great time.

Yeah I'll be at memorabillia with de rest of da elfling massive.......okay maybe massive isn't the right word but we;ll be there. Wont be able to make BICS, but definitely the Memorabillia event

Oooh yeah speaking of Omega (which is a very stable definite in my callendar for next year) has there been any further news of what's happening for it? Last I heard Rockjaw was trying to work out why everyone tried to kill themselves with the TF:O and was working on alternatives.

Would be good if they could get War Witch over again, and maybe someone else......yeah yeah I know stuff for a different thread, but it's buried somewhere in the past and I'm too lazy and full of muffins to go questing.

We're not attending BICS this year. Honestly last year wasn't that successful for us.

We're going to Memorabilia and serious planning will start on that from, well, tomorrow actually, now we've gotten through Games Convention.

We've had lots of ideas for a follow-up to the OS MiniCon - we'll see how they pan out, and again, that'll start to move forward very soon.

In the interim, Memorabilia will be even bigger than last year... so worth attending, I'd say.

And it just has to be the day before I have to go and have a knee op. :/ Damn timing!
