Flashback opening contacts on map

That makes sense to me. It'd also provide extra motivation for running Flashback arcs; as well as transient inf and prest you get the lasting benefit of extra pickup points for insps.
Yeah definitely /signed for this. Now that they've fixed it so you get the star on the flashback screen showing that you've done an arc, even if it was through flashback, I think they definitely should give you the contact as well.

Are you sure this doesn't happen anyway?
Reason I say this is that I did my first ever Flashback mission last night (for the Negotiator badge). Seems like I never had Feldman as a contact. He's now in there, with no colour in his progress bar, but he's offering me enhancements and stuff. The no progress bit suggests that I never did any other missions for him.

If they do do it, as Ravenswing says, then at least make it so that if you complete their storyarc, fill up their progress bar so you can all sorts of inspirations from them, rather than the default three. :3
It didn't appear on my character, at any rate; I'll try again on a different character, perhaps.

It's possible they stay on the list until you log out and then vanish. Haven't logged the character back in yet. I'll check and see what happens.
As a side point (might stick this in the QoL thread), wouldn't it be nice if you could go to contacts you've never been introduced to and run an 'attunement' mission to unlock at least their Inspiration shop? Bit like you do with the level 35 shop NPCs.
Edit: Okay, I just checked and he's still a contact, still no progress, still lets me buy things. However, he's only unlocked the most basic insps. My guess is that each mission in a normal sequence has a scripted mechanic for progress. If the mission you do would normally open some level of shopping, then it still will. If it doesn't, then the contact remains unsuable. So the original suggestion (or mine) still stands.

I'd like for the contacts to open up to and become a contact you can get insp from if do thier arc.
Not so bad on villians as they usually sell you insp from the off, but in heroes have to do several missions before they give your access to the insp.

Since most people like to actually team with other people, it means that sometimes, we don't get to do our own missions all that often, and thus, some of our maps will appear devoid of all contacts.
Using the Flashback system, we can go back in time and collect storyarc souvenirs, and temp powers from contacts who we have never met before in our hero/villain career. However, if we have never met that character before doing the Flashback, they still remain unknown.
Wouldn't it be better to have the contact now open on the map so we can always buy inspirations from them once we complete their storyarc via Flashback?
