Connection troubles Monday August 5th?

I'm in the North-West of England and I've had some rubber banding and almost DCs along with some lag but other than that, no log in errors.

last few nights i have had terrible rubber banding whee i repeatedly go back to the last zoning point , found the
/ sync
command clears it up i am with sky , some one i teamed with last night had bad issues last night they were with virgin
No login errors on the first attempt, but I have been getting lost mapserver A LOT in the last few weeks. When this happens i "quit to login" and then it usually takes a few tries to get back in, with the usual "cannot connect to blah blah" message.
This usually happens most in the first hour of gameplay and at odd times, like just standing outside a mission door not doing anything. Getting really quite irritating now.
I'm in the South West UK on fast.co.uk broadband.

South-West-ish of England (Wiltshire) - no problems here, except the map sync bug, which i've already reported 
I am in pretty much the same area as you. And monday evening, while i ahd no trouble logging in, i did experience some lag when the rainstorm was as it worse (giggle... they called that a storm?).
I got a diffrent ISP then you tho, mostly cause i wanna stay as far away from bredbandsbolaget as possible.
It was probably related to the rainstorm (and yes, with wind speeds averaging 25 m/s, it ought to be). The issue was gone on Tuesday.
I like Bredbandsbolaget. They give me a 100/10 mbit connection.

Don't know if this is related but ever since the patch was reapplied I haven't been able to get pass the server selection screen and it is constantly coming up with "Can't connect to DBserver" error message, but I'm on a laptop with an ATI card and have AOL as my ISP so I'm surprised I can play at all at some times. Going home tomorrow so I'll see if it works on a better system.

Did anybody else have connection troubles Monday evening? I've had a most frustrating evening with an hour going just to try to log on, then playing for fifteen minutes, then thrown out and then try to logon again. Here's what typically happens:

After that, the cycle repeats itself more or less the same way. If I finally got logged on, it didn't take more than half a mission or maybe an entire mission before I lost connection to the mapserver, and had to start all over again.
I have a theory that it might be because we have a severe rainstorm over Sweden right now, and something related to that disrupts the traffic. So I'm a bit curious of the rest of you: is there anyone else having these symptoms? If so, what's your ISP and general geographic area?
