Have you never met the Malta A sapper to put your tanker to 'sleep' and a big bot to kick your booty. Any parralels to be drawn there, well perhaps not but generic Ideas like this have been available to devs for years what makes you think they are ever going to implement your particuler take on the idea.
Re reading this it sounds a little harsh, it really ain't meant that way but it's after midnight and I just got back from the pub so most of what I said is probably best taken with a pinch of salt.
I always thought the Kronos Titan was our equivalent of a sentinel.
looks more like a battlemech to me then a sentinel, a sentinel is something like this:

would even be fun to have something like a chase, the sentinel is attacking an exceptional human and you have to protect that human and destroy the sentinel.
In my opinion, the Kronos Class Titan... far, FAR more awesome than any Sentinel-like.
(Unless Nemesis had an even BIGGER Fake one made. Probably. Likely. I think. But yeah. Currently Kronos > Sentinels)

Yes, the Kronos fills this role nicely, and anyway, Marvel would rip them a new one if they created a Sentinel clone.

Indeed, believe it or not I already new what a sentinel was. Hence I said I felt Kronos was our version (they're both robotic assault units for superpowered threats).

Yeah I definitely see Kronos as our Sentinel equivalent - The Malta Group even has a stated aim of controlling superpowered individuals (and culling them when necessary) so they're not a threat to normal humans, hence having their sapper guns so they can de-power superpowered threats.
Mind you, I'd love to see that giant Council Mech set loose on Striga.

while watching x-men, there is one sole enemy that always has the upper hand.
this enemy is called a sentinel, a giant robot with lasers and sleeping gas, it even has robe to catch the target.
i know that they have to keep away from marvel things, so if they would be called differently and have it's own model, it evades the problems.
any adds, idea's?
