Yeah, lvl a Hero to 50 unlocks Hero epic (kheldians)
and level a villain to 50 will unlock villain epic (arachnos soldiers).
villain will not unlock heroes or vice versa.

I wouldn't mind if raising an epic to lvl would unlock the orher epic AT. However I can see the merit in rewarding someone who has bothered to live the normal hero/villain to its fullest potentional. I think it makes for a better gaming experience.
Why would you want to play through the content with an epic AT before playing it through with a regular AT?

This is just a suggestion, and i guess alot of people will rain hell down on me for asking hehe ^^
But, how about like, if you have a lvl 50 HEAT, you're able to make VEATs, and if you have a lvl 50 VEAT, you can make HEATs.
Reason for this is... I kinda think that people who has reached lvl 50 with an XEAT, should be able to get like a Reward, just like when we reached lvl 50 with our normal chars...
