the first thing you need to slot in AA is 3 End Rec, or you won't be able to use it.
After that, slot it with Confuse or procs (it takes lots of procs).

I agree with PRAF here. I'm trying to run AA and Chilling Embrace on my Ice/Ice...with patron shield, fully slotted, that's 0.82 end consumption (ouch)
Planning to slot it 3 end rech for most of the journey to 50, then when some slots go spare, an extra 3 for
1. Glimpse of the abyss: Chance for Psionic Damage
2. Cacaphony: Chance for Energy Damage
3. Malaise: Chance for Psionic Damage
Giving me 20% chance per proc, per target in a 20" radius, to deal 70.91 dmg (if more than one fire...tasty indeed)
I'd be interested to know if the Contagious Confusion proc would work, as afaik, confuse within AA works differently to an applied confuse...i'm unsure as to wheither a 3 second long unslotted confuse is worth it
The procs only check every 10 seconds though.
I have Contagious Confusion in AA. It's a bit difficult to tell whats going on, but CC doesn't seem to take effect all that often (unlike the confuse from AA, CC gives the purple bubble effect).

It depends on how end heavy your toons is on who you need to slot it. I have a full purple confuse set in it and a damage proc at the moment, but this is being taken out and replaced with the 4 damage procs that can go in it, and 2 end/confuse IOs. For leveling up, I'de say best not to run it much untill 22, or even, pick it up late. It's a great power, but the end usage is nuts.
If you are an ice/psi, you can get away with less end rdx, but otherwise, at least 2, if not 3 end rdx are needed. The confuse and fear aspects take a second or two to kick in, and even then its only a chance to confuse.
I have the contagious confusion proc in it, and its hard to see what it does. My combat log tells me if something is infectious, but every so often, an infected mob will confuse Jack, who will then attack me (bug?) But it does seem to turn a chance for confuse into something more reliable, and creates more of a chain reaction. But that said, I'de rather have the 4 damage procs.
im currently making a ice dominator. its mission is to pve with the pvp aspect.
what im not sure on at the moment is Artic Air.
should i slot it for Fear, Confuse or Slow? ill be IO'n it, but what would be more effective?
any tips would be great thank you
