No Global Friends or Channels

Some services (global chat included) are still being restarted following the maintenance period. Please be patient while they come up.
It's likely that the chat and purchasing servers just haven't spun up yet. Give it a little longer and they should appear.

[/ QUOTE ]Will we need to restart the game to regain access to these when they're back up or will they become available even if we're already in-game? I don't know how exactly this stuff works.
Im the same, its all gone!! also on my character select screen i have also lost one of the free slots that was awarded during the I12 release and there is also no tab to buy new slots 
Just seen the post above from GR, i'll just go over here and shut up 
Will half of our global friends have to be added again as normal or will they all be there? =P

This service will remain unavailable for at least another 30 minutes.
We apologise for the inconvenience, and I will provide updates as I receive them.

With regards Global Chat and some Account related issues, I have posted a locked thread here with the current known issues. I will update it as I can.
Have just logged in after downtime period and I have no global friends or global channels.
Have petitioned also.
