Inv/ss tanker

Hello all

I'm sure there's loads of good advice out there about this kind of build and I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction. I'm looking for more of an aggressive build as my concept is a pretty active/aggresive type of character. I know that's what scrappers are for the inv/ss set fits my idea.

Hi there.

There are some interesting guides around on the US forums. One of the best I've seen which includes different IO slotting alternatives is in a thread by Vox_Populi. You might want to check this link out:

The invention update starts on page 7 in the thread and continues from there. There is a build for a more aggressive tank in the thread.

i used Vox_Populi's guide then tweaked the build a bit more to my liking. here's how it looks the only sets missing from the actual ingame build are the purps.

now i know you are probably shouting wasted slots on unstop but it helps alot when you are busy in a tough tf or busy fighting alot of tough enemies, getting it up faster helps a load

Woah Son!! Thats how much in unstoppable?

Recharge = Unstoppable period + Dullpain Period

300 second recharge is a bit of a dream in order to Tank 3 AVs that look like Scirroco, Ghost Widow and Mako in RV; unaided; with the right insp set up (mainly lucks) way beyond the 10 min mark. I can find from experience, a reason in getting as close to 300 secs as possible...but 6 rechg says its time to IO set the Invuln side!!

I was wondering whether it's worth dropping Punch and having Air Superiority instead? They both do similar damage and AS has a better knockback. but will it make my attack chain too small?

Punch is often dropped to fit in air sup. Handclap and Hurl are rarely seen on most builds but maybe kept depending on what ya like whilst punch is swapped for air sup. Fitting powers in has to be done somehow. Punch is slightly better in all things apart from air sups more popular secondary effect which does makes air sup more worth having.

I just took my tank out of retirement last night and noticed it was gimped as I have SOs. Man I now have to go back and re-enh the guy.
