I have a conbtroller with this combi (Captain interference)got him to level 12, is it worth going on or is this a bad build as it seems quite a tricky one.

The end is just a new beginning, Goodbye all my coh friends and even the enemies, its been a blast I will miss you all. Thank you Paragon team, you gave me a home from home I will always appriciate it.

On additional adventures sonic seems to be worth while, however the mind control seems bad for solo but in a team it really comes into its own, though as a newer player I have later found out that controllers are mostly a team assist class anyway so all in all a possible keeper though not for solo play I should have called him the debt captain!

Actually, I'd say Mind is fine for solo (decent damage and tons of control options), but Sonic less so (or at least much better in teams). Also, you can't use your buffs on your pet since you don't have one.

Solo: 3/5.
Team: 4/5.
Originality: 5/5.

Maybe if you changed your primary for something with good control, great damage and some pets.....lets say fire.

Then maybe tweek your secondary to a more foe focused set that won't have you switching targets between good guys and bad, with a load of nice debuffs......er lets say Rad.

Then I think you'll have it about right

I think that Mind has great control... plus the good thing about Sonic as a secondary is that you get to spam your holds, sleeps and confuses = mass carnage.

Mind truly rocks in small teams or solo where you can indicate quickly who you plan on sleeping. Big teams mean two of your control options are pointless (except for damage on the ST) and you will get the inevitable arguments about the confuse hurting peoples XP. Solo though you have in effect a AoE hold (sleep really) that sets up containment, it is only broken by damage (not sure about Kin debuffs) so you can debuff a slept mob to make the mobs around it more susceptible. Then proceed to tear apart the rest of the mob with your ST powers reapplying your AoE sleep as and when you need it.

I have a pair of Mind/Rads who I play together (dual-boxing) I seldom need the rad self heal because a)The mobs are fairly weak vs. psionics in general (you do have to pick your targets and b)most mobs are slept from the start and don't wake up until dead... well you know what I mean. I entertained the idea of creating two Mind/Sonics but with no self heal even the sonic buffs didn't make up for that IMO. Currently I have them at level 22, they outperform any other controller duo I have tried though my grav/rads look like they too will excel.

I personally don't like Sonic but of course if you do then that is fine. I tried a mind/sonic who I got to level 8, however solo most of the sonic powers are wasted as they are team buffs and with no self heal a lot of the time you will either need to team with someone who can heal or rely on inspirations.
