I'm one of a very rare breed in that I have a lvl 50 gravity/thorns and I am quite confused by that build. That will be hell to lvl and you've nerfed Wormhole and Impale real badly and haven't even got Gravity Distortion Field! Also, why've you got Dimension Shift AND Phase Shift? Its incredibly wasteful. Plus everyone you ever team with will hate you for phasing whole groups. Health is also way overslotted for a minor set buff increase really. Those slots would be better to put on Impale as its like one of THE corner stone attacks. As slots are tight overall I'd move the Devastation IOs to Impale. I'd also get rid of the 2 uniques on singy as well - singy is so tough its totally pointless. Its better to slot for holds in their place so singy will stack til next year along with you. I'd also recommend taking the dmg slot off of the single hold as its wasteful - put it on aid self and chuck an Interrupt IO in there to save some heartache.

I know you're going for a purple set mega build, but you'll have a nightmare leveling that build due to a total lack of any aoe control to lockdown the enemy. I'd also take the patron shield before stealth as you WILL need that extra resistance then.

Its also worth noting those purple sets dont seem to be as good as I thought for this build - I have 85%regen, 46% acc with about 5%def to everything on my not even 100% IO build with no purples at all (he's still 30% SOs and most likely will stay that way).

This build seems a lil gimped as starscreamer stated before...

1) Wormhole must be 6sloted ASAP. U can place there an stupefy set if u want a +rech set.

2) Impale will be ur big hitter till ripper. It needs more love.

3) 6slotin health and only 4slots in aid self makes me cry loud... really loud... dont make me suffer so much

4) 4slots in stamina seems a bit overkill...

well, in general, this isnt a build that I would do for any of my toons, I would try to hear starscreamers advices.

IMO, u shouldnt roll a dominator thinking since starting in permadom... U should play it, not gimping ur build using most important powers and only when u hit the 40s, and have the enoughs slots necesary to permadom, respec ur toon and go for it...

Remember that to hit permadom, u should have:

1) Lot of money. Even more.

2) Being lvl 40 (or at least, very late 30s) to have enough slots to put the sets u need for it.

Hmm, not sure where u readed 25% is enough for permadom, but Im affraid u are wrong.

Check the thread bout 'PermaDom' here in Doms forums to see a link to a guide of how to get permadom.

PS: Just a number, u need roughly 70% +rech with hasten on top.

well check force feed back when it becoms about 25% ive checked it through mids 3 or 4 times and every time it comes out to about 25%... i know its 70% without them, go check in mids for urself and yes i am aware of force feed backs probs

Forced Feedback is only up for 5 seconds and has a 10 second cooldown though. And it cannot stack.

So even if you could have FF up all the time somehow it'd still only be up 50% of the time due to the cooldown. And you'd need to have it on constantly. Not sure how you'd manage that once it gets fixed to being a 10% chance. Plus you have it in Singy, which as far as I know only buffs you when Singy is summoned, after that it boosts Singy once it PROCs due to his attacks.

Wormhole doesn't recharge quickly enough to give you anywhere near a perma PROC either. I'd say you'd get more benefit putting it in Lift instead since thats spammable. (Wormholes small AOE means you rarely get more than 4/5 targets at once unless you've somehow clustered them).

*Edit : Actually after looking over the sets the best place to put FF Procs for my money would be Ripper &amp; Thorn Barrage, followed by Lift and then Wormhole and finally Singy (if you are talking purely towards getting FF up as much as possible. Personally I'd go Ripper &amp; Thorn Barrage for yourself and Singy just to make him much more effective).

With the Damage PROCs in Fling Thorns I'd say Thorntrops might be a better place for them, coupled with 3 in Crushing Field (or 4 if you also want the -Recharge one in there).

Run out of editing time but I just compared Fling Thorns with PROCs vs Fling Thorns with 2 additional Damage IOs.

Fling Thorns does on average 46.97 damage each time its fired ( =(5*3.61*0.80) + 32.53). A PROC at 50 does 14.2 (71 *0.20).

So one Damage IO giving a 40% boost would add 18.9 damage to Fling Thorns, a second would give 14.09 (due to ED since it caps at around 95%). So the two Damage IOs give around 33 extra damage on average, the two PROCs 28.4. So the Damage IOs are more effective really, especially considering costs of the IOs.

That 2nd revision looks more sound, however, the slotting on Gravity Distortion is 100% wrong. Its dmg is pitiful - you NEED your hold to be godly or you will be ineffective as a dom even with permadom. Please stop my mental anguish lol

Plus if you do achieve permadom, slotting the hold well will mean you can lock them down and just rip them to bits. Ideally with SOs I slotted with 3 holds, 1 rech, 1 end and 1 acc. However, something like Ghost Widows Embrace or the purple hold set would do the power the world of good, and still mean lots of shiny bonuses. A dom not slotted for control in any single way is utterly broken imo. Trust me - try it and you'll see what I mean
