Any primary can go well with SR. In my opinion dark melee is probably the best synergy.
Regen is easy mode, SR is tough at early levels. Dark can be slow going. Willpower has a bit of everything but feels squishy early on.
Synergy-wise, Dark Melee's -tohit compliments the +Def of SR. Has some lovely single target stuff, too.
Claws is the highest DPS, I think. Martial Arts is stun based, I think. Broadsword is slower but higher damage. Spines is AoE/DoT.
My old SR was katana, but that was due more to concept reasons, like all my choices.
When you say PvE, do you mean solo or teamed?
Dark melee sounds good. And i am on about solo, sometimes i cant be bothered to find teams and with solo i can go at my own pace. DM still good for solo?

Yep, don't expect the high dmg outbursts of a BS but it's good steady negative damage with the -tohit debuf mentioned on each attack plus a mez, a self buff, a mini heal and endurance replenishment. DM is great scrapper primary and DM/SR is amazing.

Yup I agree, for an awesomly quick build, Dual Blades/SR rocks

Ive been mainly on CoV since it was released but was getting tired. I fancied playing on CoH for a while. I really want to make it to 50 quick (Khelds look just amazing) and i was thinking about a scrapper. Then i decided on a SR, but i cant decide on a primary. What would be the best to complement it? Also if you could make any suggestions to have anything instead of SR, please say. This is totaly PvE
